New sidepanel configuration: flexible, secure, and customisable

At Fietshangar we are constantly looking for ways to improve our design, making each new generation of lockers more secure, practical and adaptable. The latest development is our new sidepanel configuration, now available in both perforated and closed versions. Closed sidepanels conceal the bicycles inside, reducing the risk of unwanted attention and improving security. On top of that, the panels create the opportunity for municipalities and organisations to add their own visual identity through powdercoated RAL colouring and branding (see the radbox branded Hamburg unit below).

Expanding in Italy: Florence and Scandicci

This summer, twelve new Fietshangar units are arriving in Tuscany, with two in Florence and ten in neighbouring Scandicci. Featuring a customised red roof, the hangars are positioned around tram stations to support multimodal travel. Installation is being carried out by our partners Biclò, based in Florence, and all units come equipped with app-based access for easy and secure use.

Resilient bike storage for Reykjavík

Fietshangar is also making its way north: new units are being delivered to the City of Reykjavík with VSB. Built to withstand Iceland’s cold and coastal climate, this delivery follows on from earlier units that have already proven their durability. The latest order uses our value configuration with closed sidepanels, offering both extra protection and a perfect surface for city branding.
